Frequently Asked Questions
What label materials do you recommend for wine?+
It depends on the wine and brand positioning. Textured uncoated stocks (felt, laid, linen) suit organic and biodynamic producers. Metallic substrates work for trophy wines. Waterproof synthetics are essential for wines served chilled. We can help you choose the right match.
Can I get short run wine labels for a single-vineyard release?+
Yes. We regularly print runs of 200–500 labels for single-vineyard specials and cellar door exclusives, with the same quality and finish options as a 10,000-label run.
What are the labelling requirements for NZ wine?+
NZ wine labels must include ABV, standard drinks, country of origin, sulphite declarations, and vintage/variety statements where applicable. We know what Wine NZ and FSANZ require and can check your artwork before we print.
Do you offer foil and embossing for wine labels?+
Yes. We offer hot foil stamping (gold, silver, copper, custom colours), emboss, deboss, and spot UV. These are our most popular finishes for premium wine labels.
